The total electricity consumption amounted to 147 GWh, with a peak of 7 919 MW at 19:45. Renewable generation supplied 59% of the consumption, with hydro standing out at 30%. The balance of trade with foreign countries was import, with 41 GWh. So far this year, renewable production has accounted for 81% of the national electricity consumption.
Consumption concerning the power stations’ net generation, on the selected day, on the equivalent day of the previous year, monthly cumulative value and variation compared with the same monthly period from the previous year. The value of consumption corrected for the effects of temperature and the breakdown of production by primary source – coal, natural gas, water, wind, sun, biomass, and others – are also presented. In addition to the daily energy values, the peak value (maximum instantaneous value) observed on the selected day, for each of the primary sources, is also presented.
